Our Program
This unique program is comprised of typically developing students as well as preschool children with special needs. A general preschool curriculum is followed for all students. The program follows the Distict's school calendar with all sessions Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 1:30pm. Three, four and five day options are available. Hi. My name is Mrs. Reitter and I am the preschool teacher at Rockaway Valley School. I have been teaching at RVS for nineteen years and love being part of this amazing school. I graduated from The College of New Jersey with a Bachelors of Fine Arts and competed my teacher certification at Kean University. I hold certifications in preschool-third grade, special education as well as kindergarten-fifth grade. Prior to working in Boonton Township, I taught children with autism for 8 years and have a strong background in Applied Behavior Analysis.
